Overview
Description
A Pastural farm in North Yorkshire where the grassland is being enhanced by the reinstatement of a traditional hay cut and low intensity aftermath grazing regime. Other enhancements to the site include planting of dense scrub, scattered trees and creation of a traditional orchard. Existing hedgerows will be enhanced through sensitive management, bolstering and laying, and new hedgerows are proposed, which will be species-rich and provide further connectivity across the site. Currently undergoing process of registering conservation covenant. ETA for national BNG register: February 2026.
