Masketts habitat bank is situated within Wealden LPA, High Weald NCA and East Sussex and Brighton & Hove LNRS. The site sits adjacent to the southern edge of Ashdown Forest (SSSI/SPA/SAC) and within the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), and holds the potential to unlock significant biodiversity value. The existing pasture fields will be enhanced to Other Neutral Grassland, alongside the creation of areas of Mixed Scrub and addition of Rural Trees. This site has an HMMP and Conservation Covenant in place, and is fully registered on the National Gain Site register.
