Description
138 Biodiversity Units Available in South Hams LPA. The site, which lies in the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, is currently in arable production. The location offers high potential for contributions to wider landscape recovery and nature restoration, with the Erme Estuary Site of Special Scientific Interest and associated core areas in the immediate locality. The northern border fronts an extensive area of priority deciduous woodland and therefore will serve as a buffer, reflected in that this area is classified as Premium Spatial Priority.
