Description
The project is owned and managed through environmental impact fund. The fund is delivering perpetual land use change demonstrating that nature recovery can deliver sustainable revenues for landowners. All profits are reinvested in the fund to deliver future projects. The project creates high quality units within a scheme that delivers for the Local Nature Recovery Strategy. The scheme is designed to enhance the local landscape and maximise the Environmental and Community benefits of the site. The design, implementation, management and monitoring benefits from Ground Control's 50 year experience of creating and managing habitats across the UK. This gives buyers the confidence that the Habitat Management & Monitoring plan will be delivered effectively. The project also benefits from 3 years design and implementation of the Evergreen Fund's 1st 120 ha project, the Wildfell Centre for Environmental Recovery in North Essex. Habitat creation works have commenced on site with all initial works programmed to be completed by spring 2025.
