Description
Environment Bank is England's leading provider of off-site Biodiversity Units. Corby Habitat Bank is a 155-acre nature recovery site we launched in April 2026 that’s been carefully designed to support the objectives of the North Northamptonshire Local Nature Recovery Strategy (LNRS). This Habitat Bank is home to species-rich grassland meadows bound by hedgerows, trees, scrub, and woodland – providing habitat corridors for a range of wildlife species living in the nearby ancient woodlands. It also includes ponds and ditches to help species of invertebrates to thrive. This Habitat Bank is being added to the biodiversity gain sites register and our Biodiversity Units are being reserved and purchased.
