Overview
Description
Grassland enhancement and scrubland creation at this site will serve to create a biodiversity hotspot in the High Weald AONB. This will complement wider landscape recovery projects such as the Weald to Waves core corridor which incorporates 20,000 hectares of contiguous habitat with the aim of stabilising the local climate, preserving ecosystem services and facilitating sustainable food production. These factors combined with the existing diverse habitat mosaic on which to build on renders this site strategically important.
