Traditional Flower Meadow alongside the Blackwater Estuary
BNG registered
Added on 06/08/2025Overview
Description
We are a family run farm with a proven record of conservation projects and successful habitat management. This traditional hay meadow is part of a range of BNG solutions which fit within our farming operations. Our prize winning native breed cattle play an important part in managing our habitats. This site is highlighted as an area of Strategic Opportunity for grassland habitat creation in the Essex LNRS. We are happy to discuss the sale of any number of full or part units, with prices dependent on total requirements. BEIC habitats sit alongside the Blackwater Estuary, a nationally important area for wetland birds and coastal habitat. Our sites are delivering significant benefits to the local area as well as the globally important East Atlantic Flyway, with our gazing marsh home to thousands of migrating Brent geese in the winter. Scrub, woodland and hedgerow units also available, but not currently registered. BEIC has the potential to offer bespoke habitat creation solutions if required, please contact us for further information and to discuss your requirements.
