Elmbridge
Biofarm Restoration Site
Added on 09/12/2024
Overview
Description
Surrounded by extant woodland, meadow, ponds and an inventory of veteran trees, and lying directly adjacent to the Clandon to Bookham Parkland Biodiversity Opportunity Area (Surrey County Council), this site is well placed to contribute to wider landscape recovery. The site currently exhibits a legacy of disturbance from overgrazing, and thus the management strategy will centre around restoring soil health and exposing the latent unimproved seedbank.
