Overview
Description
Located within the Cornwall AONB and the Cornwall National Landscape, this site will play a key part in the emerging local nature recovery network. Crucially, habitat enhancement here will contribute to the natural recolonisation of extant and nationally scarce temperate rainforest which provides perfect conditions for rare plants, lichens and fungi. The site is also positioned at the headwaters of tributaries feeding the River Valency, providing contributions to water quality and the restoration of riparian habitat.
